Yes, there are times when you have to stop making excuses, get off your ass and just do it. Then there are others when it’s simply not happening. Brilliant ideas don’t necessarily flow 24/7. And there are moments when the ideas arise, but the writing doesn’t follow. And when people tell you to “just sit down and write” or paint or whatever, a hearty punch in their goozle seems a hell of a lot easier.
