a trunk is a boot
chips are crisps
fries are chips

saran wrap is cling film
ham is bacon
bacon is streaky bacon or canadian bacon (which is really their bacon, which is our ham)
cookies are biscuits
biscuits are scones
people in the u.k. drive on the “left” side, not the “wrong” side, of the road
rugby is tougher than football
soccer is football
to yield is to give way
the restroom is the toilet
tea is delicious and goes very well with shortbread
